Who We Are

Alex Lovett-Woodsum,

Development and Communications Consultant

Alex has been an avid angler all her life, and has dedicated much of her career to giving back to the fisheries she loves. Growing up in New England, she spent much time trout, bass and striper fishing before moving to Florida to focus primarily on flats fishing. Alex has been working in the non-profit world since 2010, first for City Year, an organization focused on stemming the dropout crisis in the United States, before starting work for Bonefish & Tarpon Trust, a conservation organization working to protect bonefish, tarpon and permit and their habitats. After several years with BTT, Alex decided to become an independent consultant, focusing primarily on fisheries and conservation. In addition to her support of the TCA team, Alex is working on the Now or Neverglades Campaign, as well as doing projects for the Appalachian Mountain Club, Fay Ranches, and Tail Fly Fishing Magazine, among others.
